The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Nursing was designed to help meet the pressing statewide demands for a larger number of skilled nurses and to make available to the people of Arkansas the best possible educational preparation for the profession of nursing. Students in the nursing programs receive a world-class education from leaders in their fields. PROGRAMS

The college offers a comprehensive array of programs, including a pre-licensure Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, a registered nursing-BSN, a master’s, post-master’s completion, and both practice and research doctorates, including a new program to prepare nurse anesthetists for certification.
