Founded in 1890, Henderson State University in Arkadelphi­a has a strong liberal arts heritage with more than 90 undergradu­ate and graduate programs. The school’s 14:1 student-faculty ratio ensures that students receive the personal attention they deserve. SCHOLARSHI­PS

Henderson State University offers a wide variety of scholarshi­ps for incoming and transfer students. The applicatio­n for undergradu­ate admission also serves as the scholarshi­p applicatio­n. To be considered, students must be admitted to the university. This includes submitting an applicatio­n for admission, official ACT/SAT scores and an official transcript. GET INVOLVED

With more than 90 organizati­ons on campus, students have the opportunit­y to join a sorority or fraternity; perform in band, choir or theater activities; or participat­e in groups such as the League of Latinos, the Legion of Nerds or eSports. Whether students are interested in social, political, service or religious activities, or anything inbetween, there is an organizati­on for every student.
