BENTONVILL­E — On March 16, 2021, in Bentonvill­e, Ark.,

at age 87, Webster Grant Hobbs, beloved husband of Debra (nee Roberts) quietly slipped from this life into the presence of his beloved Savior Jesus Christ. He was born Oct. 29, 1933, in Floyd, Ark., to George Caswell Hobbs and Bertha Louise Hill.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters Ramona Hobbs and Barbara Domingue; brothers Jasper Hobbs, Nathan Hobbs and Elsmer Hobbs; and sister Elmira Cooper.

Web graduated from Fairview High School in Grant, La., and worked at several jobs including mechanic and carpenter before becoming a driver for the San Diego Transit Company from where he retired after almost 30 years. He also served in the San Diego Police Reserve for several years.

After moving to Northwest Arkansas in 1989, he worked as a school custodian and real estate agent. He was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Rogers, Ark.

Web is survived by his wife of 47 years, Debra; daughter Louanna Walden and husband Jimmy of Pea Ridge, Ark.; granddaugh­ter Ramona Sanders and husband Peter of Houston, Texas; grandson Albert Domingue and wife Rebecca of Dayton, Texas; grandson Dale Oxman and wife Tiffany of Pea Ridge, Ark.; granddaugh­ter Shannon Leftwich and husband Marcus of Rogers, Ark.; and great-grandchild­ren Angelica Sanders, Joseph Sanders, Kagen Domingue, Devin Oxman, Hannah Oxman, Bonnie Moore and Hailey Moore.

A celebratio­n of life service will be held Monday, March 22, 2021, at 10:30 am at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, 12845 Walnut Valley Road, Rogers, Ark., 72756.
