FORT SMITH — Judith “Judy” Marie Hadley,

passed away on April 9, 2021, in Fort Smith, Ark. Judy was born on July 3, 1941, in Eureka Springs, Ark., to Benjamin Wierick and Ruth Cope Wierick, and she was the granddaugh­ter of the late Edna Young Cope and W. J. “Bill” Cope, lifelong residents of Eureka Springs.

Judy was a graduate of Eureka Springs High School, class of 1960.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Earl R. Hadley, originally of Clifty, Ark. They were married on March 18, 1961. They had two sons, Kevin R. Hadley and his wife, Sherry of Tahlequah, Okla., and Kelly R. Hadley and his wife, Kim, of Fayettevil­le, Ark. She was Nana to six grandchild­ren and six great-grandchild­ren: Cody Youngblood, and his wife, Ashley, and their daughters, Astyn and Landry, of Tahlequah, Okla., Jason Youngblood, and his wife, Cassie, and their son, Trenton, and daughters, Caysen and Callie, of Tahlequah, Okla., Brandon Hadley and his wife, Erica, and their daughter, Cora, of Tahlequah, Okla., Alissa Anglemyer and her husband, Jeff, of Owasso, Okla., Savannah Hadley-DeMark, and her husband, Brock, of Bloomingto­n, Ind., and Will Hadley of Fayettevil­le, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her beloved grandparen­ts, Bill and Edna Cope, of Eureka Springs, Ark., and her mother, Ruth Cope Farley, and longtime stepfather, George Farley of Rogers, Ark.

Judy was employed by General Business Forms in Bentonvill­e, Ark., for many years before moving to Fort Smith, Ark., in 1995 to work for Weldon, Williams, & Lick, where she retired in 2005.

Mrs. Hadley’s graveside funeral service will be at 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 14, 2021, in Upper Clifty Cemetery, in Clifty, Ark.
