SPRINGDALE — Lynn Bratcher,

-

age 67, of Springdale, died suddenly Friday, April 9, 2021. Lynn was born Jan. 11, 1954, in West Plains, Mo., to Leon and Ima Lee Kelley.

She attended Charles Page High School in Sand Springs, Okla., where she had many friends, many of whom she was still in contact with.

Lynn is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Richard Lee Bratcher.

Lynn was a dedicated and loving mother first and foremost. She treasured and loved her children even when she wanted to turn them over her knee. She would tell her children and grandchildren the truth even if they didn’t want to hear it.

She especially loved her role as Nanny to her grandchildren and great-grandson. She was a loving mother to two sons, Johnathan Solomon of Fort Smith, and Todd Kelley of Springdale. She found a bonus daughter in Sara Alley of Springdale. She was a devoted and loving Nanny to two grandchildren, Kalie Meyers and husband RJ Meyers of Bella Vista, and Kelley Solomon and wife Sabra Solomon of Springdale. She also adored her great-grandson, Jameson Meyers, of Bella Vista; also survived by her stepmom, Marcelleta Kelley.

Lynn had a very strong bond with her sister and was often confiding and sharing stories with her, Janice Bennett and her husband John both of Sand Springs, Okla. She was also very proud of her niece, nephew and great niece and nephews.

She worked in retail most of her life as a customer service representative with different medical supply companies as well as a knife retailer. She was a member of the Family Support Group for the Arkansas National Guard 142nd B Battery and very dedicated to supporting the unit with her heart and soul while her husband was enlisted.

She was an avid country music lover, especially Blake Shelton, Alabama, George Strait, and Alan Jackson. She was a lover of sappy Hallmark movies as well as many shows that were on the Hallmark network. She liked going to listen to karaoke at Fatty Hackers and sharing a gin bucket with her guard family.

Lynn leaves behind many friends and friends that became family. She would support you and give all of herself to you when you needed her. We will always remember her big heart and her contagious laugh and smile but take comfort in knowing she is back in Richard’s arms once again.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 13, from 4-7 p.m. at Westfield Chapel, Funeral service will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Westfield Chapel with burial to follow at Fayetteville National Cemetery.
