Dr. Jonathan Tobey recently joined Baptist Health Orthopedics Clinic at 1506 Dodson Ave. in Fort Smith. He specializes in sports medicine. Tobey earned a medical degree from the University of Texas Health Sciences Center at Houston. He completed an orthopedic surgery residency at the University of Oklahoma and a fellowship in sports medicine at the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque. Tobey treats many types of sports- and non-sportsrelated injuries. He will see adolescents and adults.
Madison Dawson has been named director of tourism for the Eureka Springs Advertising & Promotion Commission. Dawson will oversee tourism development, serving as an advocate for Eureka Springs and the destination’s brand, and fostering economic impact development for partners. Dawson holds a degree in hospitality and tourism management from Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Okla.
Matt Kendall has been named president and chief executive officer of Arvest Bank’s mortgage division and Arvest Central Mortgage Co., a role he has filled on an interim basis since February. Kendall is accountable for directing management teams and operations for Arvest’s mortgage division and Arvest Central Mortgage Co. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and business at Hendrix College.
Megan Albers, PA-C, recently joined the Washington Regional East Springdale Family Clinic to provide primary care services for older adults and children. Albers earned a master of science in physician assistant studies and a bachelor of arts in Spanish from Harding University. She is fluent in Spanish and a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
Amy Fisher has been promoted to chief human resources officer for John Brown University in Siloam Springs. She holds a master’s in business administration in leadership and ethics. She will continue to serve as director of government relations. Fisher also serves as the Title IX co-coordinator and oversees vendor operations including food service and campus bookstore and mailroom operations. Fisher is a member of the Northwest Arkansas Human Resources Association.
