ROLAND — Jimmy Randall Wiley,

-

65, of Roland, Ark., passed away unexpectedly at his home on September 17, 2021. He was known to family and friends as Randall or Wiley, but he proudly held the titles of Dad and Papa Jim.

He was preceded in death by his father Jimmy Wiley and his sister LaDonna Holt.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Kay Wiley; daughters, Neysa Hemingway (Patrick) and Leanne Glidewell (Chris); son, Jarrett Wiley (Lashell); mother, Alice Wiley; sisters, Sheryl Bates (Jimmy) and Carol Richardson (Keith); brother, Dan Wiley (Hanna); uncle, Jerry Wiley (Jeannine); and brother-in-law, Jerry Holt. He is also survived by his beloved grandchildren, Tessa, Michaela, Austin, Victoria, John David, Jeremiah, Elijah Paul, Riley, Raven; and his dog, Rex “Moochie.” He leaves behind many other family members, loved ones, and long-term friends, especially in his community of Roland. He also leaves behind his un-watered garden, unpicked vegetables, and an empty water bucket and lawn chair.

He enjoyed spending long hours in the yard tending to his gardens and plants, going on motorcycle and buggy rides, fishing, music, and spending time with his grandchildren. Although he was retired, he spent four years in the Air Force then worked in the field of engineering. He had a brilliant mind and could create or fix anything.
