WASHBURN, Mo. — Jeannie Lee Morgan,

age 50, passed away in her home in Washburn, Missouri, on Wednesday, September 22, 2021, surrounded by her loved ones and her loyal companion, Bella. She was born on November 29, 1970, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas, to Lillie Winberry (Jasso) and Gary Phillips. She was a graduate of Rogers High School in 1989. After high school, she had many roles in healthcare for several years until she took on the most important role of all, being a mother.

Jeannie is survived by one daughter, Courtney Johns (Morgan) and son-in-law, Timmy Johns. Her parents, Gary Phillips, Lillie Winberry, Jim Winberry. Two brothers, Jason Phillips (Melinda Fairchild), JD Winberry (Anna Penales), and one sister, Racheal Case (Winberry). She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.

Jeannie was a devoted mother, daughter, aunt, sister. She enjoyed family gatherings, traveling, rock concerts and most of all arguing about politics. If you didn’t know something, she would tell you. She was also known for having the best shoulder to cry on and provided comfort to those who were in need. Jeannie was a believer in God and spent many years as a member of several local Baptist Churches.

She is preceded in her death by her maternal grandparen­ts, Charlie and Frankie Jasso and paternal grandparen­ts, Ollie and Minnie Phillips. Also preceded in her death is her uncle, Charlie Jasso, and her best friend, Jandy Albright. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, anyone who knew her and most of all, Bella.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, Sept. 27, from 5 until 7 p.m., at Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 2 p.m., at Grandview Cemetery in Grandview, Ark.
