While working as the band director in Mildred ISD, Shawn began attending the Northwood church of Christ. Shawn met Christina in 2006, and they married on December 21, 2007. Not only did he choose to love and share his life with her, he was a wonderful, dedicated, and present father to Laura. 2 Corinthians 4: 17-18
