ROGERS — Myron Miller,
77, passed away on September 26, 2021, at Mercy Hospital. He was born April 6, 1943, in Kendallville, Indiana, to Paul and Ruth Ginder Miller who proceeded him in death. He is survived by his wife, Lorna and children, Michelle Green, Matt and Carolyn Miller and grandchildren, Damon of Nashville, Phoebe and JT of Rogers. Also, a nephew, Bill Wade, a niece, Carol Wade her husband Cliff Madell, and great-nephew, Tyler Madell of Buffalo N.Y. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Donna June Wade of Buffalo N.Y. and brother, Morgan O. Miller of Kendallville, Ind.
He moved with his family to Rogers in 1977 where he owned and operated Waterproofing Contracting. He later was in construction, insurance sales and drove a school bus for Springdale Schools for five years. He served as Vice-President of the PTA at Grace Hill Elementary School and Sunday school Superintendent at his church. He also coached basketball and soccer teams through the Rogers Activity Center for many years. Besides his family he was most proud of his participation on the Activity Center Soccer Board when they first laid out the fields working with the community for donations and volunteers as well as organizing the construction and layout. He enjoyed spending time with his family, driving his tractors and gardening. He was a member of Living Word Lutheran Church.
A private inurnment will be held at Rogers Cemetery. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home of Rogers.
