Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette

Who will be voted Best?

-

Nominations open Monday, Nov. 1 for the 2021Best of Northwest Arkansas, this year presented by Enhanced Healthcare of the Ozarks. It’s our audience’s opportunity to recognize the best in business, things to do, places to go, people who entertain us and the people who make things happen in Northwest Arkansas!

The Best of Northwest Arkansas is all about engaging fans, customers and local business. It’s the one time that our audience engages to help select the BEST of Northwest Arkansas. Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette gives readers an opportunity to choose outstanding people, businesses and establishments in 255 categories. The nine topic areas are Agriculture, Eat & Drink, Health & Beauty, Home & Garden, Motors, Services, Schools, Shopping and Things to Do.

Each year, we rely on our audience to supply us with the names of outstanding people, businesses and establishments in each of the 255 categories. Once the nominees are finalized, our audience is asked to vote who they think is best in each category. This year, voting begins on Thanksgiving Day, November 25. Vote each day until December 22, 2021. Nominations are accepted online until November 17. There is no cost or obligation to nominate yourself or your favorites. Just go online to BestNWA.com and start nominating. Nominations require a valid email address for verification.

Nominations outside the market area will not quality for the ballot but are welcome to participate as advertisers. Businesses with multiple locations will appear as a single nomination for voting. Business associates and advertisers of the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette and any other owner-affiliated company are not given special treatment.

For a category to qualify for the ballot, there must be a minimum of five separate businesses that are competing for votes. If a category is not qualifying, the contest organizers will make reasonable accommodations to move the contestant to a similar category. Once a category is qualified, those nominated will be placed on the official ballot.

Each year we start fresh, and no past winners are automatically nominated. This year there are new categories with new opportunities to win. Businesses and individuals that have not participated in the past are encouraged to nominate themselves. There is no cost to be nominated or participate in voting!

All nominations and voting this year are done through BestNWA.com. The official ballot is a closed ballot. Those wanting to participate must submit a nomination.

And the winners …
