FAYETTEVIL­LE — Steven Hamilton Hill,

age 68, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., passed away on October 29, 2021, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayettevil­le. He was born on March 28, 1953, at Nashville, Arkansas to Truman Hill and Imogene Webb Hill. Steven graduated from Little Rock Hall High School in 1971 and Park University in Parkville, Mo.

Steven was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served honorably in the United States Air Force, achieving the rank of Sergeant. After leaving the Air Force, Steven enjoyed a successful career as a sales representa­tive in the animal pharmaceut­ical industry in Texas and Arkansas. Over the course of his career, he held positions with SmithKline Beecham, Pfizer Animal Health, and PhiBroAnim­al Health. In retirement, he realized his lifelong dream of moving to Northwest Arkansas and made a home in Fayettevil­le. He was an avid reader, lover of Western Swing music, and skilled BBQ pitmaster. Friends and family will remember his mischievou­s sense of humor and unfailing generosity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Truman Hill and Imogene Webb Hill.

Steven is survived by his son, Steven Matthew Hill of Norwalk, Iowa; daughter, Kate Hill and son-in-law Alex James of Washington, D.C.; granddaugh­ter, Victoria Kai Hill of Kapaa, Hawaii; Sharon Hill, mother of his children, of Nacogdoche­s, Texas; sister, Marilyn Jacuzzi and brotherin-law Jim of Bryant, Ark.; brother, John Hill of Bryant, Ark., and Mistie Hill of Little Rock; life partner, Karen Arnold of Fayettevil­le, and her family, Alyson, Lydia, Chris, Clark and Ava; nieces and nephews: Kim, Sarah, Greg, Phillip, and Hamilton; and special friend, Therese Pendleton.

The family would like to thank the caretakers at Avenir Memory Center of Fayettevil­le and Willard Walker Hospice Home for taking care of Steven.

Graveside services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Saint Paul Cemetery in Ozan, Ark.
