PRAIRIE GROVE 34, BERRYVILLE 21

Prairie Grove scored three touchdowns in the third quarter to overcome a 14-7 halftime deficit to the Bobcats.

Prairie Grove accumulate­d 229 of its 300 total yards on the ground. Eight players had carries, including Conner Hubbs, who rushed for 98 yards on seven carries. Colin Faulk had 46 yards on seven carries.

Landon Semrad caught two passes for 50 yards and a touchdown.

LINCOLN 37, LAVACA 36

Sophomore quarterbac­k Drew Moore directed two fourth-quarter drives to rally Lincoln past Lavaca in 3A-1 Conference play.

Freshman Kale Jones scored on a 3-yard run with 33 seconds left then added the two-point conversion to give Lincoln a 37-36 lead. Kale then intercepte­d a pass seconds to preserve the one-point victory.

Kale rushed for 176 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries to lead the Wolves ( 3- 6, 3- 3). He also returned a kickoff 75 yards for a score. Moore completed 21 of 33 passes for 221 yards with one touchdown and one intercepti­on. Kyle Calvin had seven catches for 65 yards.

Lavaca held a 36-29 lead after Maddox Noel passed 10 yards to Cazen Winters for a touchdown then threw for a 2-point conversion with 1:30 left.

GREENBRIER 59, ALMA 28

Greenbrier quarterbac­k Cooper Wilcox threw five touchdown passes and the Panthers rolled up 664 yards of total offense.

But the game was mostly about Wilcox and the explosive Panthers’ offense. Bradley Turnage kicked a 21-yard field goal to put the Panthers ahead with 6:06 to play in the first half.

Wilcox completed 13-of-16 passes for 326 yards. He threw a 14-yard touchdown pass to Jacob Mathis to put the Panthers ahead 10-0 after one quarter.

Eli Weaver’s 10-yard scoring reception made it 17-0, and Wilcox extended the lead to 24-0 with an 83-yard scoring strike to Carter McElhaney.

Greenbrier held Alma without a first down on its first four series. But the Airedales drove 58 yards for a touchdown on their next series, with quarterbac­k Joe Trusty tossing a 31-yard touchdown pass to Brilee White.

White caught five passes for 83 yards, including a second 31- yard scoring strike in the second half.

Conner Stacy hauled in a 24-yard scoring strike and Trusty scored from a yard out to account for Alma’s final points.

The Panthers scored four third-quarter touchdowns to put the game away. Nick Huett’s 52-yard touchdown run and a 57-yard scoring strike to McElhaney extended the lead to 45-14.

Miles Miller’s 50- yard touchdown reception made it 52-28, and Wilcox called his own number for the final tally, a 7-yard run with 8:20 left to play.

Trusty threw for 266 yards (21-of-30) and also rushed 18 times for 61 yards.

Stacy caught 12 passes for 156 yards and a touchdown to go over 1,000 yards receiving for the season.

SHILOH CHRISTIAN 62, GRAVETTE 12

Bo Williams scored a pair of touchdowns and the Saints rolled to a 4A-1 Conference road win.

Gravette led 6-0 early before Shiloh Christian (8-1, 6-0 4A-1) unleashed a 62-point onslaught.

Junior quarterbac­k Eli Wisdom fired three touchdown passes and ran for another to power the Saints’ offense.

HUNTSVILLE 17, GREEN FOREST 8

Kolton Reynolds and Tucker Bradley each scored a touchdown, and Huntsville clinched a playoff berth with a victory at home over Green Forest.

Reynolds put the Eagles (4-5, 3-3) ahead to stay with his 22-yard touchdown pass from Amos Mayes midway through the first quarter. Philip Toole added a 27-yard field goal early in the second quarter, then Bradley scored on a 29-yard run to give Huntsville a 17-0 halftime edge.

Green Forest (2-6, 1-5) picked up its score late in the fourth quarter when Bryan Soto blocked a Huntsville punt, and Jazmany Lopez recovered the ball in the end zone. Joel Salgado added the two-point conversion run.

CEDARVILLE 14, MANSFIELD 8

Hayden Partain rushed for 187 yards and two touchdowns on 31 carries to lead Cedarville past Mansfield.

Tyree Mongold blocked a punt to set up the winning drive.

HARRISON 35, CLARKSVILL­E 3

Logan Plumlee threw for three touchdown passes, and Harrison erupted for 21 points in the third quarter to defeat host Clarksvill­e and clinch a playoff berth.

The Goblins had a 7-0 halftime lead on Plumlee’s 14-yard touchdown pass to Dylan Block before pulling away. Plumlee threw touchdown passes of 13 yards to Talon Stephens and 3 yards to Tristan Thompson, while Brody Gilliam added a 13-yard touchdown run for a 28-0 cushion.

Harrison forced a running clock for the final 7:29 after Vann Richards scored on a 6- yard run. Clarksvill­e avoided a shutout with a 44-yard field goal as time expired.

ELKINS 42, GENTRY 7

Braedon Welch completed 10 of 15 passes for 117 yards and two touchdowns to lead Elkins past Gentry.

Da’Shawn Chairs rushed for 75 yards and two touchdowns while Aden Williams and Jusiah Bettencour­t both caught touchdown passes.

Slate Warren had an intercepti­on and blocked a punt for a touchdown.

GREENWOOD 42, VAN BUREN 0

Javon Williamson accounted for three touchdowns, while Dylan Tucker scored twice at Greenwood cruised to a 6A-West Conference victory at home over Van Buren.

The Bulldogs jumped out to a 14-0 lead in the opening quarter on a 3-yard touchdown run by Tucker and a 6-yard run by Williamson. Greenwood added another score before halftime as Hunter Houston connected with Landen Robins on a 72-yard touchdown pass with 14 seconds remaining.

Williamson and Tucker scored again on runs of 23 and 3 yards, respective­ly, as the Bulldogs forced the running clock for the final 10:26, then Williamson caught a 25-yard touchdown pass from Houston to finish the scoring.

HACKETT 66, GREENLAND 42

Cole Ketchum threw for 283 yards and five touchdowns as Hackett claimed a wild 3A-1 Conference road victory over Greenland.

Peyton Hester accounted for five of the Hornets’ touchdowns as he caught eight passes for 122 yards and four touchdowns and added a 2-yard touchdown run. That performanc­e put him over the 1,000-yard mark receiving, and he also excelled on defense with 10 solo tackles and 3 assists.

Cogan Hester added 101 yards rushing and a touchdown on 13 carries, while Hayden Medlock caught three passes for 46 yards and a score.

CHARLESTON 24, WEST FORK 19

Sophomore Reese Merechka played a big role for Charleston as the Tigers held off West Fork and clinched the outright 3A-1 Conference championsh­ip.

Merechka had 90 yards and a touchdown on just seven carries and also added two receptions for 33 yards. He also helped out on defense with a 46-yard intercepti­on return for a touchdown, as well as six tackles and a pass breakup.

Senior linebacker Ransom Merechka led Charleston’s defense with 12 tackles.
