ROGERS — Linda Kay Shipp, age 79, of Rogers, Ark.,

went to be with the Lord on October 29, 2021. She was born on September 20th, 1942, in Hindsville, Ark., to Lillian Holman. Linda Kay is preceded in death by her mother; husband, Harold Shipp; daughter, Ruth Ann Shipp; grandson, Cameron Dale Shipp; sister, Pearline Drummond; and brother, Donald Wayne Holman.

Linda Kay is survived by her children, Janet Pickle of Fayettevil­le, Ricky Shipp and wife, Tonya, of Prairie Grove, David Shipp and wife, Jody, of Fayettevil­le, Becky Villines and husband, Justin, of Compton, Angel Harvey and husband, Shane, of Benton, Crystal Waggoner and husband, Jacob, of Elkins; 18 grandchild­ren; 12 great-grandchild­ren; and many nieces and nephews; her siblings, Charlie Lane, Bobby Lane, Ronnie Lane, Johnny Lane, Bonnie Braswell, Connie Lane.

Kay raised six children tirelessly instilling the love of Jesus in their hearts, as well as her grandchild­ren. Harold and Kay had nearly 50 years of ministry and she was well-known for her beautiful anointed voice. She enjoyed her work for 17 years as a home health nurse. Caring for others was her calling. She will leave a void that can’t be filled in all our lives.

Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 2nd, at Westfield Chapel Funeral Home in Springdale. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, November 3rd, at Faith Full Gospel Church in Bethel Heights. Linda Kay’s final resting place will be at Mountain Springs Cemetery in Compton, Ark.
