SPRINGDALE — Ronald Wright,

78, of Springdale passed away November 14, 2021, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. He was born on April 23, 1943, in Springdale to Doyle Wright and Ruth Cordes Wright.

Ronald was a devoted and faithful christian. He was a member of Calvary Free Will Baptist Church in Springdale, where he served on the Board of Trustees. He worked as a mechanic most of his life. He ended his career with 25 years at UPS. He owned and operated Chadwick Homes. After he retired he drove a school bus for Springdale Public Schools. Ronald loved to ride horses. He loved his family and enjoyed pestering and playing pranks on his kids and grandkids and was always a child at heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Doris Matthews and Margie Kendrick, and two brothers, Melvin Wright and Thomas Wright.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Wright, of the home; two daughters, Teresa Smith and husband Gene of Springdale, and Marcella Moore and husband Mark of Springdale; two brothers, Doyle Wright Jr. and wife Norma of Springdale and David Wright of Springdale; one sister, Norma Glover of Springdale; five grandchildren, Chad Smith and wife Monica of Springdale, Dustin Smith and wife Denise of Jay, Okla., Jessica Smith of Springdale, Megan Kempker and husband Jeremy of Eugene, Mo., and Mitchell Moore of Garden City, Kan., and six great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Smith of Springdale, Stone Smith of Springdale, Sawyer Smith of Jay, Okla., Kenley Smith of Jay, Okla., Caroline Kempker of Eugene, Mo., and Rhen Kempker of Eugene, Mo.

Services will be Thursday, November 18, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Calvary Free Will Baptist in Springdale. Interment will be at Bluff Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 10-11 a.m. at the church.
