FAYETTEVIL­LE — Bobby Frank Hatfield,

age 89, a native of Fayettevil­le, Ark., passed away Sunday, November 21, 2021, at the Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale, Arkansas, surrounded by family. He was born on April 25, 1932, to Jake Robinson and Catherine Rebecca Dowell Hatfield. He graduated from Fayettevil­le High School and married Ina Faye Maxwell on March 16, 1951. He served in the U.S. Army and was stationed in Korea. He was a dairy and poultry farmer in Farmington, Arkansas. He was a past president of the Washington County Farm Bureau. He retired to War Eagle Cove on Beaver Lake near Nob Hill, where he and his wife enjoyed the lake life, neighbors and having family gatherings. He enjoyed fishing, wood carving and taking his grandkids on the lake to fish and ski. He enjoyed traveling to South Texas during the winter months with his wife for 19 years. He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Fayettevil­le and an active board member of the Mt. Comfort Cemetery Associatio­n.

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, William Hatfield. He is survived by his wife, Faye Hatfield of 70 years; three children, Linda Davis (Terry) of Bentonvill­e, Arkansas, Donald Hatfield (Peggy) of Prairie Grove, Arkansas, and Karen Stowe-Rains (George) of Fayettevil­le, Arkansas; six grandchild­ren and nine great-grandchild­ren.

Visitation will be held from 10 to 12, on Saturday, November 27, 2021, at NelsonBern­a Funeral Home, 4520 N. Crossover Road, Fayettevil­le, followed with a graveside service at 1 p.m., at Mt. Comfort Cemetery, 3878 W. Mt. Comfort Road, Fayettevil­le. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to Mt. Comfort Cemetery Associatio­n, 3878 W. Mt.
