BENTONVILLE — William ( Bill) Anthony Fisher Jr.,
79, of Bentonville, Ark., Went to be with the Lord on January 29th. He was born in Benton Harbor, Mich., Nov. 24, 1942, to William A. Fisher and Trella Culver Fisher. He was a U.S. Army veteran from 1959 to 1966. Bill served in Korea and Germany. He was a Staff Sergeant. Bill loved bowling, traveling, watching his favorite football teams the Dallas Cowboys, Razorbacks, and Sooners, and getting together with family and friends. Bill was a salesman by trade.
He was preceded in death by his father; mother; and several aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; stepson, David Arnold; stepson, Randy Arnold; and a brother-in-law, Louis Simmons.
Survivors include his wife, Connie Fisher, of the home; son, William A. Fisher IV, of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Trella Marie Fisher of Colorado; granddaughter, Paige Thurman; two great grandchildren, Morgan and Walker, of Oak Harbor, Wash.; grandson, William A. Fisher V of Greenville, Texas; step-granddaughter, Alejandra Acosta of Fort Worth, Texas; step- granddaughter, Andrea Vowels of Celina, Texas; step- daughter, Melissa Arnold of Farmington, Ark.; step- granddaughter, Whitney Johnson of Centerton, Ark.; step-granddaughter, Skylar Smith of Bentonville, Ark.; step- granddaughter, Marissa Arnold of Rogers, Ark.; step- grandson, Marcus Smith of Bartlesville, Okla.; step-grandson, Jauan Arnold of Bentonville, Ark.; step-grandson, Braydon Butler of Fayetteville, Ark.; sister-in-law, Evelyn Simmons of Pea Ridge, Ark.; sister-inlaw, Mary Douglass of Rogers, Ark.
We would like to thank Dr. Aguilar, the Promenade Health and Rehab and the Mercy Hospice for all that they did for Bill. We will be arranging a military graveside service in May in Rogers, Ark.
