HOT SPRINGS VILLAGE — On April 14, 2022, Danny O’Neal Snyder,

of Hot Springs Village, husband and father; Navy veteran, passed away after a brief illness. He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Maudie Snyder, Fermon Snyder; sisters, Lois Henry and Dolly McCorkle; and brothers, Mack Snyder and Billy Snyder.

Danny leaves behind his wife of fifty-eight years, Sandra; sister, Betty Steiger; daughter, Jenny Cress (Brad) of Prescott, Arizona; son, Stephen Snyder (Lisa) of Statesboro, Georgia; six grandchild­ren; three great-grandchild­ren); and many cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Danny was a 1959 graduate of T.J. Rainey High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. He enlisted in the Navy and served aboard the aircraft carrier, U.S.S. Ticonderog­a at the beginning of the Vietnam War. After leaving the service, Danny was part of the first group of computer software developers in the state. His initial employment was at the “Med Center” UAMS in the early 1960s. He retired from Tyson Foods in 1993 as Vice President of Management Informatio­n Systems (MIS). Danny lives on in the hearts of his family. They appreciate the love and support of their many friends during this time.

The funeral will be Thursday, April 21, 2022, at Balboa Baptist Church in Hot Springs Village. Dr. Denny Wright is presiding. Breakfast: 9 a.m., Visitation: 10 a.m.; Service: 11 a.m. A private graveside service will be held Friday, at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Alexander, Arkansas.
