ROGERS — Richard Lynn “Pete” Peters,

75, of Rogers, Ark., passed away on Sunday, April 17, 2022 , surrounded by his family at Circle of Life Hospice, Bentonvill­e, Arkansas. He was born to parents , Claude and Carleta Peters, March 16, 1947, in Mulberry, Arkansas.

Richard graduated from Rogers High School 1966 and served in the U.S. Army 1966 through 1969, serving in the Vietnam War. Following his service, he was employed by Preformed Line Products in the maintenanc­e department and retired after 41 years.

He was happily married to Della for 20 years, who survives him. Richard is also survived by daughter, Cecile Peters of Pea Ridge; son, James Peters (Niki) of West Fork; stepdaught­ers, Trudy Waltz (Travis) of Bella Vista, and Jamie Wentz (Lynz) of Arizona; brothers, Michael Peters (Debi) of Van Buren and David Peters (Earnestine) of Dyer; and sister, Margaret Williams of Ft. Smith. He was a proud Papa to grandsons Clayton and Seth; granddaugh­ters, Karenna and Soraya who love and will miss him dearly.

Richard was proceeded in death by his parents, Claude and Carleta Peters, high school love and wife, Karen Peters; infant child, Cynthia; brother, Billy Peters and sister, Kay Schaffer.

Richard loved hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He loved to travel, spend time with his family and friends and was a collector of antique cars. Richard was 32nd degree Mason.

Visitation is Wednesday, April 20, 2022, from 5 to 7 p.m., at Rollins Funeral Home, Rogers, Ark. There will be a graveside service at the Fayettevil­le National Cemetery Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 1:30 p.m.
