SPRINGDALE — Cordella Sue Hopkins,

75, went to be home with her Lord and Savior, April 27, 2022, at her home in Springdale. She was born in Bentonvill­e, Ark., in 1946, and attended school in Hiwasse and Bentonvile graduating in 1964. She was a faithful member of Cross Church in Springdale. She married her only love, Jackie Ray Hopkins. They met at the University of Arkansas in 1965 and married shortly after. To this union was born five children who survive, Judy (David) Smith of Springdale, Janie (Clark) Gray of Strafford, Missouri, Jerry (Lore) Hopkins of Tontitown, Jo Huggins of Springdale and Jill Haberkorn of Springdale; ten grandchild­ren, Erinn, Meghan, Danielle, Jackie, Kennedy, Ben, Jon Tate, Duke, Bailey, and Nathan; six great-grandchild­ren, Camden, Lydia, Clara, Valerie, Caroline and Ataly. She is also survived by her siblings, Larry (Ann) Red, Homer (Sandy) Poe, Delores Carter, and Chuck Red. Her sister- in-law, Betty Red, her uncle, George (Vernita) Cowgur and brother-in-law, Gary (Lois) Hopkins, and many cousins, family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Faye and Charlie Red and Cecil Poe; one brother, Bill Red, and sisters, Melba Terry, Myrt Miller and Charlotte Burgess. Everyone knows that she left a hole that can never be filled.

Funeral service will be Saturday, April 30, 2022, at 10 a.m., at Sisco Funeral Chapel of Springdale with Charlie Foster officiatin­g. Burial will follow in Centerton Cemetery.
