Another lawyer backs Shue to be prosecutor

-

Attorney Daniel Shue is running for reelection in the Sebastian County prosecutor’s race. He has 30 years of experience as a prosecutor in Sebastian County. I have known Dan Shue since 1998. I have practiced law alongside him, and I have practiced law in cases against him. In my dealings with him, I learned that he would always be reasonable and always give best efforts to do the right thing.

I have observed Dan Shue as the chief prosecutor for 13 years. He has always acted reasonably and evenhandedly in his role as Sebastian County prosecutor. It is my observation that he understands that sometimes good people do bad things and that there should be a system in our government to encourage those people to do the right thing and avoid a lifestyle of crime. I’ve come to recognize that Dan Shue has helped keep our community safe by keeping the hardened criminals off our streets and keeping the honest people honest. I’m sure it’s not an easy job. It takes a special person to be able to do that. It takes a person who can make tough decisions in difficult circumstances and a person who is wise to what is best for the people of our community.

I have practiced law in the state of Arkansas for 25 years and I do not know of a person who can do the job as our Sebastian County prosecutor in a way that benefits our community to the level that Dan Shue does. He is the person for this job.

We live in a fine community. Let’s keep it that way. Please vote to reelect Daniel Shue for Sebastian County prosecutor on May 24.
