passed away on Tuesday, June 28. She was born on March 18, 1929, to James Oscar and Emma Louise (Sheil) Hogue in Fort Worth, Texas. She graduated from Our Lady of Victory high school and attended Texas Woman’s University. She and her family moved to Rogers in January 1963.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her brother, Bill, and her husband, B.R. She is survived by her five sons: Terry of Rogers, Rick (Pat) of Rogers, Jim (Linda) of Huber Heights, Ohio, Bill of Fayettevil­le, and Doug of Rogers; two grandsons, Logan and William; two granddaugh­ters, Samantha and Sydney; and many nieces and nephews.

She was a devoted member of Saint Vincent De Paul Catholic Church and volunteere­d many hours to various organizati­ons related to the church. She was also very involved in the community, serving on the original Board of Directors of the Rogers Boys Club, serving on the original Board of Directors of the Rogers Community-School Recreation Associatio­n, and serving on the original Board of Directors the Rogers Softball Associatio­n. She served as the official scorekeepe­r for countless league softball games, as well as, numerous invitation­al, District, State, and Regional softball tournament­s in Northwest Arkansas.

Her services are: Rosary on Tuesday, July 5, 2022, from 5-5:30 p.m., with visitation to follow until 7 p.m., in Rollins Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2022, at 10 a.m., in St. Vincent de Paul Church with burial to follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery.
