ROGERS — Lorin Lavoyd “Buddy” Oxford,

76, of Rogers, passed away Wednesday, October 1 2 t h , 2022, at his home. He was born March 22nd, 1946, at Rock, Ark., to Columbus and Audry Bowen Oxford.

Lorin married Loretta on December 23rd, 2002, at Berryville, Ark. He was a father to four children.

He attended Colbaugh Freewill Baptist Church. Buddy loved to play music. He liked hunting, working on the farm, and visiting with people. He was a very outgoing, hard-working man that loved his family very much. Lorin’s big baby blues, and contagious smile, would light up a room in an instant.

Lorin was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; William and Lennis Oxford; his son, Chris Oxford and his granddaugh­ter, Amber Miller.

He is survived by his wife, Loretta Oxford of the home; one son, Michael Morio of Bartow, Fla.; two daughters; Linda Carole and husband Tom Samuelson of Lowell, and Beth and husband James Miller of Fayettevil­le; three sisters, Ola Mae Sherry, Ova Lea Clinton, and Bernice and husband Virgil Bohlen; one brother, Charles Oxford and one sister-in-law, Donna Oxford, all of Rogers; seven grandchild­ren; and one great-grandchild.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 15th at 9 a. m. at Brashears Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 10 a.m. with Loy Counts officiatin­g.

Pallbearer­s will be Eric Oxford, Jason Oxford, Chris Welch, Mason Miller, Tom Samuelson and Jordon Ganoung. Honorary pallbearer­s will be Tyler Morio, Mike Morio, Virgil Bohlen and Doyle Sherry. Interment will immediatel­y follow services at Rambo Cemetery, Rogers, Ark.

Services are entrusted to Brashears Funeral Home and Crematory of Huntsville.
