SPRINGDALE — Wanda Loyce Harriman,

age 82, of Springdale, Ark.,, died on October 31, 2022, at her home. She was born on May 18, 1940, in Saint Paul, Ark., to Floyd Webb and Mary Beatrice Ogden Webb. Wanda attended Elkins High School, where she played basketball all three years and was selected Basketball Queen her senior year in 1958.

She worked for Walmart for over 24 years before retiring in 2000. Over the years, Wanda attended Tuttle Church of Christ, Farmington Church of Christ, Baldwin Church of Christ, and Elkins Church of Christ.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, James “Pete” Harriman; parents, Floyd and Mary Webb; and son-in-law, Billy Haines.

Wanda is survived by son and his family, Ken Harriman and wife Susan of Springdale; grandchild­ren, Lauren Thomas and husband Jeremy and their sons Hunter and Cash of Tontitown, Cole Harriman and wife Catie and their daughter Blake of Rogers, Reid Harriman and wife Dakota of Sanford, N.C., and Ally Harriman and fiance Zaine of Fayettevil­le; daughter and her family, Kim Harriman Haines of Springdale and granddaugh­ter, Kristina Haines of Oklahoma. Wanda is also survived by sister, Faye Jones and husband Brian of Fayettevil­le; and bonus daughters, Alyssa Welch of Hot Springs, Sheri Lynn Brown of Springdale, and Iva Bennett of Joelton, Tenn.

The family will hold a private celebratio­n of life ceremony at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that memorial donations be made to Gospel Tracts Internatio­nal, 2125 N.
