Council action

Fayetteville’s City Council met Tuesday and approved:

• Four Continuum of Care program grants from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development totaling $338,260 to assist residents experiencing homelessness.

• Authorizing Mayor Lioneld Jordan to sign the terms for a 20year, $85 million loan from the state to pay for a major water line replacement project on the west side of town.
