MONDAY’S GAMES BOYS FLIPPIN 63, YELLVILLE-SUMMIT

47 Rilyn Robins collected 20 points to elevate Flippin (10-3), which extended it winning streak to five games. Alex Glenn had 16 points and five steals while Dominick Hamilton chipped in with 12 points and six rebounds for the Bobcats. Noah Layton and Noah Ferguson paced Yellville-Summit (3-4) with 10 points apiece.

OZARK CATHOLIC 68, GREENLAND 45

Shep Newcomb hits eight 3-pointers and finished with 32 points to lead Ozark Catholic past Greenland during the opening round of the Duel at the Dome tournament at West Fork. The Griffins led 18-11 after one quarter and 32-21 at halftime, then outscored the Pirates 22-12 in the third quarter to pull away. Simeon Spencer was the only other Ozark Catholic player in double figures with 13 points. Cannon Spurlock had 15 points for Greenland, while Cooper Spurlock added 11.

BERRYVILLE 68, GREEN FOREST 48

Berryville outscored Green Forest 2412 in the third quarter to pull away and claim a victory during the Bev Stone Border Classic at Omaha. The outburst helped the Bobcats stretch a seven-point halftime lead into a comfortabl­e 57-38 cushion. Peyton Smith had 26 points and Dale Nagtalon added 23 for Berryville. Zak Watson and Braydon Compton hit 14 points apiece for Green Forest.

At Conway St. Joseph MAYFLOWER 71, SACRED HEART

39 Koben Burton had 16 points to lead Mayflower (1-o) to the second round. Xander Osborn tallied 16 points, and Mason Dold followed with 14 points for Sacred Heart (2-9), which fell into a 20-2 deficit after the opening quarter. ENGLAND 68, PERRYVILLE 25 Trenton Arnold had 14 points, 7 assists and 3 rebounds to help England (6-0) remain unbeaten. Landon Woods finished with 13 points, 5 steals and 4 assists, and Jayquan Mays touted 11 points, 7 assists and 2 steals for the Lions.

QUITMAN FAST BREAK CLASSIC At Quitman DARDANELLE 62, NEMO VISTA 33

Christian Alvarado pushed through with 12 points in the opening round for Dardanelle (5-1). Eddie Moore scored 11 points for the Sand Lizards. Kelby Bess connected for eight points to steer Nemo Vista (4-8).

CABOT 66, LITTLE ROCK CATHOLIC 56

Braydon Hall provided 22 points and four rebounds in a 10-point victory for Cabot (2-3). Jermaine Christophe­r chipped in with 14 points and eight assists, and Grant Goddard had 8 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists for the Panthers, who stopped a three-game losing streak.

VAN BUREN 68, VALLEY VIEW 59 Glavine McDonald rolled to 19 points and eight rebounds as Van Buren (3-2) advanced. A.G. Denton had 15 points, and both Drew Brasuell and Jaxon Cazzell netted 14 points apice for the Pointers.

WHITE COUNTY TOURNAMENT At White County Central CONCORD 60, DES ARC 20

Darrell Reed scored 16 points to drive Concord (121) to a convincing win over the Eagles. Eric Welch had 13 points for the Pirates. Walker Harris’ six points led Des Arc (0-1).

At Walnut Ridge CORNING 59, HILLCREST 32

Jayce Couch pumped in a team-high 19 points as Corning (1-4) picked up its first win of the season. Roman Davis added 15 points for the Bobcats. Kaden Geurin had six points to lead Hillcrest (3-11). MAYNARD 52, TRUMANN 45 John Cline’s 14 points were crucial in a firstround victory for Maynard (6-6). Max Mustread scored 12 points for the Tigers, who’ve won three straight games. Cobey Riddle notched 13 points, and Gavin Greenwell contribute­d 10 points for Trumann (0-2).

MARMADUKE 59, POCAHONTAS 50 A.J. Forkum’s 22 points boosted Marmaduke (10-2) in its first tournament game in Walnut Ridge. Blake Gipson added 16 points for the Greyhounds. D.J. Coffey and Tik Kios both scored 11 points for Pocahontas (0-1).

WALNUT 71, HOXIE 68 Davis Callahan counted up 21 points to carry Walnut Ridge (2-0) to a tight win over the Mustangs. Rex Tedder scored 15 points for the Bobcats. Kyler Lenderman had a game-high 21 points, and Kayden Glenn netted 12 points for Hoxie (0-1).

GIRLS DUMAS 60, PINE BLUFF 21

Ziyaun McKinzie controlled things with 18 points and 10 rebounds in a beating for Dumas (4-1). Kendri Broughton had 12 points and eight rebounds, and Mirica Scott tossed in 10 points, 6 steals and 3 rebounds for the Lady ‘Cats.

FLIPPIN 55, YELLVILLE-SUMMIT 32

Ally Hodges pounded her way to 16 points and eight rebounds in a romp for Flippin (6-1). Kenna Greenhaw had 11 points and seven rebounds, and Cadence Pendergras­s followed with nine points and nine rebounds for the Lady Bobcats. Abby Methvin had 20 points for Yellville-Summit (2-4).

ROGERS HERITAGE 50, GENTRY 41

Kya Dixon had 17 points to lead Heritage to a home nonconfere­nce victory over previously unbeaten Gentry. The Lady War Eagles (3-2) slipped out to a 14-12 lead after one quarter and and stretched it to 27-20 at halftime, only to have the Lady Pioneers (4-1) pull within 39-33 after three quarters. Dixon was the only Heritage player in double figures. Kailyn Caswell had 14 points for Gentry, while Destiny Reinhardt added 10.

SPRINGDALE 52, NEVADA, MO. 52

Springdale jumped out to an early 13-4 lead and went on to defeat Nevada during the opening round of the Carl Junction (Mo.) Tournament. Kaiya McCoy had 16 points to lead a trio of players in double figures for the Lady Bulldogs, who led 27-18 at hgalftime and 38-24 after three quarters. Jakayla Bunch and Charleen Hudson each added 12 points for Springdale. Clara Swearingen led Nevada with 15 points.

FORT SMITH NORTHSIDE 66, GRAVETTE 36

Hazley Grotjohn had 22 points to lead Northside to a victory over Gravette in the Lady Bears’ home opener. Northside (2-0) led 20-12 after one quarter, then outscored Gravette 2010 over the next 8 minutes for a 40-22 halftime cushion. Cherish Blackmon and Erianna Golden each had 11 points for the Lady Bears. DeLacie Wishon had 14 points for Gravette (3-3), while Alexa Parker chipped in 10.

GREEN FOREST 39, OMAHA 27

Green Forest held Omaha to just two free throws in the first quarter, then defeated the Lady Eagles on their home floor during the Bev Stone Border Classic. The Lady Tigers built an early 12-2 cushion, then extended it to 26-10 at halftime and 38-17 through three quarters. McKenzie Randolph led Green Forest with 14 points, followed by Lydia Russell with 11. Remington Crouch had 12 for Omaha.

BIGELOW 55, NEMO VISTA 15

Briley Starks dropped in 11 points during a rout for Bigelow (4-4). Lily Johnson had 10 points, and Bryn Weaver finished with nine points for the Lady Panthers. Izzy De Salvo ended with seven points for Nemo Vista (1-9).

White County Tournament At White County Central CONCORD 59, MIDLAND 21

Ashlyn Cossey collected 19 points in a another rout for Concord (11-1). Whitley Goodson had 15 points, and Emily Helms came up with 10 points for the Lady Pirates. Heidi Parrish led Midland (0-3) with 15 points.
