Foghorn’s Wings Burgers & More

1545 W. 15th St., Suite 1, Fayettevil­le Priority violations: Ice in containers was observed without a lid at the bar area, located away from under the counter and exposing the ice to nasal, oral and dust contaminat­ion. Previously cleaned and sanitized utensils had food residue and buildup on the food contact surfaces. A can opener blade had food buildup and residue. In cooler 2, spicy ranch dressing and green buttermilk dressing were observed at 50 degrees at one hour 45 minutes. In cooler 1, American cheese was observed at 44 degrees. In the Pepsi cooler, ranch was observed at 44 degrees after four days, blue cheese was observed at 50 degrees after seven days and salsa was observed at 47 degrees after three days. Flour that comes in contact with raw chicken was observed to lack a time control mark or be otherwise kept at 41 degrees or below. Clumps of flour were observed to have formed where the chicken had been in contact with the flour. Window cleaner was observed being stored next to a pitcher containing ice and water.

Priority foundation violations: No paper towels or other means of hand drying were observed at a handwash sink at the bar area. No soap was observed at a handwash sink of the bar area. Core violations: Coolers 1, 2 and the Pepsi cooler were observed to not be keeping food items at 41 degrees or below. Food residue and buildup were observed inside coolers 1, 2, 3 and the walk-in cooler and behind kitchen equipment. The vents and ceiling tiles throughout the kitchen area were observed to have an accumulati­on of dust and two misplaced tiles were observed in storage and prep areas.
