Tacos 4 Life announced in a press release they are inviting Arkansas families to experience the Valentine’s holiday together during its weeklong “Tacos 4 Love” event Feb. 12-17.

Throughout the week, guests can celebrate the holiday of love through delicious tacos and lovefilled activities at 10 participating locations across the state, the release states, among them those in Fayetteville, Fort Smith, Rogers and Springdale.

Each location will be decorated in a Valentine’s Day theme, including a photo booth for guests to document their experience, according to the release. Guests will also have the opportunity to create personalized Valentine’s Day cards to extend love to children overseas who receive MannaPack Rice Meals for each Tacos 4 Life meal purchased.

“Love is the backbone of everything we do at Tacos 4 Life, so it’s important that we do something to commemorate the holiday of love by creating a place to share it with all of your loved ones,” said Austin Samuelson, co-founder of Tacos 4 Life. “There’s no better way to do that than through family and friends coming together to enjoy good food while giving back to help children suffering from hunger around the world.”

Flashback Pizza

Roads? Where we’re going, we don’t need roads. But you will need your appetite!

Flashback Pizza and Milkshakes announced on their Facebook page that they are coming soon to 105 S. Third St. in downtown Rogers.

“We want to offer a slice of nostalgia to everybody who walks through the front door,” the future restaurant posted. “We hope that you guys are as excited as we are for the future and excited to blast back into the past when you walk through our front door.”

The business’ website says they are open Monday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and, on Friday and Saturday, from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. They are closed on Sunday.

Galentine’s Brunch

Some of the best celebrations come from the zeitgeist of recent pop culture and are often so well known that a single phrase sets off a string of quotes and laughter among friends.

A Festivus for the rest of us. May the forth be with you. Treat yo self.

And, these days, swaths of female friends get together every Feb. 13 to celebrate Galentine’s Day.

As Leslie Knope, the character who popularized the holiday on NBC’s “Parks and Recreation,” would say, “What’s Galentine’s Day? Oh, it’s only the best day of the year.”

The Odd Soul, a craft bar and pizzeria located at 125 W. Emma Ave. in Springdale, is inviting you to celebrate this best day of the year when they host a Galentine’s Brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 13, according to a Facebook event created by the bar.

“Get it on the calendar now, ladies, we’re helping you celebrate the love in your life that you truly can’t live without … your girls,” the event page says. “Come enjoy a special-event-only cocktail menu that’s being perfected by our resident ‘alcohol alchemist.’”
