-

age 97, of Bella Vista, Ark., went home to be with his savior, Jesus Christ, on December 3, 2023. He is now reunited with his two beloved wives and many friends in heaven and will be with them for eternity.

He was born in Stillwater, Minn., and was the owner of an independent insurance agency in Minnesota for many years. He retired and moved to Bella Vista 37 years ago with his wife, Jean. He had passion for music being a part of the Bella Vista Men’s Chorus and Bella Vista Community Church choir. Over the years he was part of different Bella Vista golf and bowling leagues. He had a real passion for sports. He was always athletic and competitive. Up to the end, he always loved watching golf, football, softball, and baseball.

Wayne will be remembered for his friendliness as he loved to be a part of social gatherings and getting to know other people.

After the death of his wife, Jean in 2007, he later was married to Loretta Luschar until her death in 2021. He would likely say that the most enjoyable times of his life were the years at Concordia of Bella Vista and the Plaza in the Highlands with his wives.

Above everything, Wayne loved the Lord. His favorite music was old time Christian, particularly the Gaither Vocal Band. He also loved to watch and listen to various TV preachers. One of his favorite possessions was Jean’s old Bible that was filled with her notes. He was never shy about praying out loud before every meal, at home and in public. Toward the end of his life, he talked frequently about looking forward to being with the Lord.
