The Mustangs led 33-20 at halftime and continued to play well in the second half as they defeated the Indians by a score of 63-49 in the Western Foothills 3A Conference game played Tuesday night in Hickory.
East Lincoln had four players in double figures, led by sophomore, Davis Hill, who had 15 points and made 5 3-pointers on the night. Senior, Mason Simmons, added a doubledouble with 14 points and 12 rebounds, followed by senior, Keandre Walker, who had 12 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals, while sophomore, Jackson Fannon, added 10 points.
The Mustangs will be host the North Iredell Red Raiders on Friday, while the Indians will be on the road against the Statesville Greyhounds.
