LINDA KAY SIGMON

Linda Kay Sigmon, 77, of Conover, passed away on Tuesday,

November 21, 2023 at Catawba

Valley Medical Center.

She was born April 16, 1946 in Catawba County to the late

Edward and Mary Miller Sigmon.

Linda was a member of St. Peter’s

Lutheran Church in Conover and was Co-owner of Sig’s Tire Center. She enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Nancy Sigmon; and nephew, Greg Sigmon.

Those left to cherish her memory are;

Husband of 59 years: H. Wilson Sigmon of the home

Sons: Kevin Wilson Sigmon and wife Erin of Conover Jamie Lynn Sigmon and wife Robin of Conover

Tracey Scott Sigmon of Conover

Sisters: Johnsie Fay Parker and husband Jerry of Maiden Mary Ruth McRary and husband Steve of Conover Grandchildren: Brandon, Gage, Dylan, Dallas, and Hayden Nieces and Nephews: Freda Christine Hradek, Sedona Robertson, Cheryl Thinnes, Candace Hummel, Stephanie McRary, Jason McRary, Chris Parker, and Randy Parker

The family would like to thank the CCU 5th floor South Team at Catawba Valley Medical Center for taking such great care of Linda.

A service to celebrate Linda’s life was held on Sunday, November 26, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Conover. Rev. Eric Hauss officiated. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:45 p.m. at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Those who served as pallbearers were Brandon Sigmon, Gage Sigmon, Dylan Sigmon, Dallas Sigmon, Hayden Sigmon, Tony Sigmon, Matt Rockett, and Toby Aiken. Employees of Sig’s Tire Center served as honorary pallbearers.
