Former longtime Newton-Conover head wrestling coach Eddy Clark honored with gym court name dedication on Dec. 6
NEWTON, N.C. - Legendary Red Devils head wrestling coach Eddy Clark retired from his post following the 2022-23 season.
Nevertheless, his name is now etched in the fabric of NewtonConover High School forever as he was honored on Wednesday, Dec. 6, with a gym court dedication.
During his run, Clark also had the privilege of coaching his sons Owen and Cole Clark. Owen went on to become a back-to-back state champion.
