Of note: This is the first time the schools have played since the 2016-2017 season.

The Mustangs led 38-22 at halftime, and continued the onslaught in the second half as they defeated the Panthers by a score of 80-37 in the non-conference game played Friday night in Denver.

The Mustangs were led by junior, Jackson Fannon, who had 20 points and 8 rebounds, followed by sophomore, Grant Lawless, who had a career high 15 points and also added 8 rebounds. Senior, Houston Hartsell, added 11 points and 7 assists and junior, Landon Aungst, added 7 points and 10 rebounds on the night.

The Panthers had one player in double figures, led by Bryce Horton who added 13 points.

The Mustangs will face the Hickory Red Tornadoes on the road on Wednesday, December 20.
