The Mustangs led 45-18 at halftime, and continued the onslaught in the second half as they defeated the Wildcats by a score of 76-50 in the first round of the East Lincoln Winter Jam Tournament played Wednesday night in Denver.
Junior, Jackson Fannon, had 29 points and 8 rebounds, while sophomore, Grant Lawless, added 10 points and 7 rebounds.
The Wildcats had two players in double figures, led by Markel Carothers who added 21 points, while Jalen Howard had 16 points.
