Greg Wilder Named CEO of North Carolina Association of CPAs
The North Carolina Association of CPAs (NCACPA) today announces the appointment of Greg Wilder as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective February 19, 2024.
Wilder brings over 15 years of experience as a CPA association professional, serving most recently as Chief Operating Officer for the Georgia Society of CPAs for the past 11 years. Wilder’s extensive knowledge of the accounting profession, commitment to advocating for CPAs, strong track record of leadership and innovation, and his collaborative approach make him a valuable addition to the NCACPA team.

Possessing a demonstrated proficiency in association management, member relations, project management, and public relations, Wilder brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the position. During his time with the Georgia Society of CPAs, Wilder served nearly 12,000 CPAs and accounting professionals in promoting public awareness of CPAs and their services, and advocating for the profession’s interests before governmental bodies, regulatory entities, and other organizations.

The announcement of Greg Wilder as the incoming CEO coincides with the retirement of Sharon Bryson, M.Ed., who has served NCACPA with distinction in various roles for nearly four decades.
