Big5 Performer: Jackson Fannon had 20 points and topped the 1,000 point mark for his career. Fannon now has 1,006 points total and is the 11th East Lincoln player to accomplish this feat in school history.

Of note: The Mustangs sweep the season series and have won 7 in a row versus the Tigers.

The Mustangs led 32-25 at halftime but outscored the Tigers 43-18 in the 2nd half to break open the close game and win by a score of 75-43 in the Western Foothills 3A basketball game on Tuesday night in Newton.

East Lincoln had four players in double figures led by junior, Jackson Fannon, who had 20 points and 7 rebounds, followed by sophomore,Grant Lawless, who added a doubledoub­le with 16 points and 10 rebounds, senior Houston Hartsell, added 12 points, and junior, Davis Hill, added 11 points.

The Tigers were led by juniors, Graham Orndorff and David Hartsoe, who both had 10 points.

East Lincoln will be on the road against the St. Stephens Indians on Friday night, while Fred T. Foard will be on the road against the North Lincoln Knights.
