Zion Lutheran to host Fundraiser

Mt. Zion Lutheran Church is hosting a spaghetti dinner fundraiser to support its music ministry on Saturday, February 10, 2024, from 5-7 pm. The public is invited to dine in or pick up to-go meals at the Fellowship Hall (4420 County Home Road in Conover) during that time.

Each meal will include spaghetti with meat (or meatless) sauce, salad, bread, drink, and dessert. The cost of a meal is $12.00, and proceeds will sustain and enhance Mt. Zion’s music program, especially the work of the Joyful Ringers handbell ensemble.

Mt.Zion Lutheran is known for its community service, including its homemade chicken pie dinners, community garden and produce that benefit local food pantries and soup kitchens, and quilting ministry, which supplies blankets and garments to people in need, nearby and globally.

In addition, Mt. Zion enjoys a longstanding reputation as being locally accessible and Christ-centered. Since its founding in 1893, Mt. Zion has served as a welcoming place of worship, offering programs for children, youth, adults, and seniors. Along with its strong focus on community service, Mt. Zion offers a dynamic music program and impressive pipe organ.
