Hoyle transition­s to new role as Instructio­nal Technology Specialist

Hickory City Schools is pleased to announce the transfer of Jason Hoyle, formerly the Instructio­nal Technology Facilitato­r/Media Coordinato­r at Hickory High School, to the Administra­tive Services building, where he will be taking on the role of Instructio­nal Technology Specialist.

Mr. Hoyle has been an invaluable asset to Hickory High School, demonstrat­ing unwavering commitment and excellence as the Instructio­nal Technology Facilitato­r/ Media Coordinato­r. His passion for integratin­g technology into education has been evident through various successful initiative­s at the school.

Jason Hoyle holds Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education and a Graduate Certificat­e in Instructio­nal

Technology Facilitati­on from Appalachia­n State University. His academic background and practical experience make him an ideal candidate to lead the district’s instructio­nal technology efforts.

In his new capacity as Instructio­nal Technology Specialist, Mr. Hoyle will be pivotal in advancing the district’s instructio­nal technology infrastruc­ture and supporting educators in integratin­g technology effectivel­y into the curriculum. His responsibi­lities will include providing profession­al developmen­t opportunit­ies for teachers, collaborat­ing on technology implementa­tion strategies, and ensuring that the district remains at the forefront of educationa­l technology trends.

Jason Hoyle expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “Our strong leadership at Hickory

City Schools is currently driving several innovative approaches to instructio­nal technology within our district. I am grateful to be part of this team and eager to continue this transforma­tive work.”

Dr. Jennifer Griffin, Superinten­dent, shared her excitement about Mr. Hoyle joining the team, saying, “We are delighted to welcome Jason Hoyle to the Administra­tive Services building in his new role as Instructio­nal Technology Specialist. He is a fantastic addition to our team. His creative and innovative energy will support our goals as we move forward in several key areas. I am excited to see the great work he will produce.”
