SBA announces Disaster Loan Outreach Center in NC will close permanently on Feb. 20

The Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Catawba County was closed Monday, Feb. 19 in observance of Presidents’ Day. The Center will reopened Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. and will close permanently at 4 p.m. The Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) Catawba County is located at100 Government Drive Newton, NC 28658.

SBA’s friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives

are available to answer questions, help apply for an SBA Disaster Loan, upload documents, check an application’s status, and assist with reconsideration requests for the loan.

Applicants may apply online and receive additional disaster assistance information at sba.gov/disaster. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercustomerservice@sba.gov for more information on SBA disaster assistance.

For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is April 1, 2024. The deadline to return economic injury applications is Nov. 1, 2024.
