SBA announces Disaster Loan Outreach Center in NC will close permanentl­y on Feb. 20

The Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Catawba County was closed Monday, Feb. 19 in observance of Presidents’ Day. The Center will reopened Tuesday, Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. and will close permanentl­y at 4 p.m. The Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) Catawba County is located at100 Government Drive Newton, NC 28658.

SBA’s friendly and knowledgea­ble Customer Service Representa­tives

are available to answer questions, help apply for an SBA Disaster Loan, upload documents, check an applicatio­n’s status, and assist with reconsider­ation requests for the loan.

Applicants may apply online and receive additional disaster assistance informatio­n at sba.gov/disaster. Applicants may also call SBA’s Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email disastercu­stomerserv­ice@sba.gov for more informatio­n on SBA disaster assistance.

For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommun­ications relay services.

The filing deadline to return applicatio­ns for physical property damage is April 1, 2024. The deadline to return economic injury applicatio­ns is Nov. 1, 2024.
