Education Foundation for Catawba County Schools announces “Dining for Education” Restaurant Week

The Education Foundation for Catawba County Schools is thrilled to announce the “Dining for Education” Restaurant Week from April 29 to May 5. This special event will see participation from 28 local restaurants, each of which will donate 3% of their total sales for the week to the Education Foundation.

The Education Foundation is dedicated to supporting the district’s future educators through scholarships and fostering innovative teaching practices with mini-grants that directly benefit students across Catawba County.

“We are thrilled to collaborate with our local business community to enhance and expand our education foundation,” said DeAnna Finger, Executive Director of the Education Foundation. “A heartfelt thanks goes out to all the restaurants that have joined us in this initiative. We are eager to see this event flourish in the coming years and welcome even more partners. Your support next week at these venues will make a significant difference!”

Participating restaurants span a range of cuisines and styles, ensuring there’s something to suit every taste. This community-wide effort highlights the strong partnership between local businesses and the educational sector in Catawba County, aimed at enhancing the quality of education provided to students.
