This 6’ foot achiever worked it until clinching the trophy in the fifth match point! At 22-years-old, she became the first Spanish woman to win a Grand Slam since Arantxa Sanchez at the 1998 French Open. Did I mention what a huge accomplishment this was to defeat Williams since Serena was a fav of Muguruza’s growing up? Dreams coming true right before our eyes.
