MADISON KEYS

-

Can you say powerhouse? Madison Keys’ dominant groundstrokes and forceful serves ensure her place in the top 10 and can only mean one thing-there are more trophies in the near future! Currently ranked at number 8, her potent righthanded forehand and dogged determination helped Keys win her first singles title at the Premier event in Eastbourne, beating two top ten players, first Jelena Janković and then Angelique Kerber in a three set final. 2016 was a terrific year for this outgoing player when she advanced to the late- rounds in two huge tourneys, the French and US Open. After recovering from a wrist injury, Keys is expected to burst back out into the tennis scene mid-2017. Keys is used to shaking it up, in fact, one of her most memorable experiences is playing a match during an earthquake in Costa Rica. Wow! If Madison Keys can handle the earth moving while sizzling on the court, then anything is possible!
