STARBOY

The Weeknd returns to South Florida for a night of tonguetwisting lyrical poetry at BB&T Center.

If you missed his show at Americanairlines Arena during his 2015 Madness Tour, or didn’t ring in 2016 with him and Justin Bieber at the Fontainebleau’s poolside New Year’s Eve bash, don’t let 2017 be the third year in a row you pass up the chance to witness the vocal prowess of Abel Tesfaye, aka the Weeknd. The 27-year-old double-grammywinning Canadian R&B artist will do his thing and get 20,000 fans touching on their bodies at BB&T Center on May 11 as part of his Starboy: Legend of the Fall World Tour.

Debuting at number one on the Billboard 200, Starboy, the Weeknd’s third studio album (and what he has called “the next chapter” in his music), features tracks with sonic prodigies like Lana Del Rey, Future, Kendrick Lamar, and Daft Punk. Just this February, the Weeknd and Daft Punk performed at the 2017 Grammy Awards. And during his tour stop in London, he even brought out fellow Torontonian “Drizzy” Drake. What surprises will the Weeknd have up his sleeve for his 25-song set—which includes (spoiler alert!) Beauty Behind the Madness masterworks like “Often,” plus a three-song encore ending with “The Hills”? There’s only one way to find out. Tell your friends...
