Although summer is coming to an end, we have plenty to look forward to as the calendar changes to September. Fall means hot new fashion trends, culinary innovations, and a variety of events to be enjoyed under the bright Miami sun.
While the temperature may not drop dramatically, you will detect a difference in the atmosphere as we gear up for the thrilling happenings around town—starting with food. This month, the Magic City revels in Miami Spice, an annual promotion with restaurants in every neighborhood in the 305 offering creative three-course menus prepared by our world-famous chefs. My suggestion? Head to one (or all) of the dining destinations at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach for some mouthwatering cuisine and cocktails (paired with spectacular views, no less). You won’t regret it.
Besides filling up on top-notch fare, it’s also time to stock your closet with the latest and greatest styles. We can always count on Miami for the best fashion throughout the year, and this season we’ll welcome even more exciting additions. Up north, Aventura Mall is readying a threelevel expansion that will include a new roster of stores and restaurants. And of course, the ever-growing Miami Design District continues to provide us with highly coveted pieces from the world’s top fashion houses. Be sure to keep your eyes peeled for some fashionable pop-ups hosted exclusively #ATMDD.
Speaking of style, we’re thrilled to feature actress and fashionista Nina Dobrev on our cover. The brunette beauty (who will star in the sci-fi thriller Flatliners—out September 29) is just as stunning on the inside as she is on the outside, and we’re excited to be able to share her story with you.
