Expression­s of Hope: Telling Survivor Stories: Sponsored by the Giving Voices Project, a charity supporting the healing of survivors of abuse through creativity and self-expression. There will be a panel discussion about how stories of abuse are told and perceived through the arts and multimedia, as well as artistic performanc­es including spoken word, music, and dance. The event will be held online through Facebook Live and YouTube streaming from 1-3 p.m. April 25. 2020 Youth Photograph­y Contest: The Orange Audubon Society is accepting entries for its 2020 Kit and Sidney Chertok Youth Florida Native Nature Photograph­y Contest for ages 17 or younger. Participan­ts should photograph Florida native plants, animals, landscapes and the many habitats of Florida. Entries cannot show humans, human-made structures or artifacts, or discernibl­e fauna or flora non-native to Florida. For contest rules visit orangeaudu­bonfl.org. The deadline for entries is April 30. Cash awards will be announced June 18. Cost: $2 per image for Audubon members, $4 per image for nonmembers. Details and entry forms: 407-718-1977.

2020 Novice and Advanced/Profession­al Photograph­y Contest: The Orange Audubon Society is accepting entries for its 32nd annual Kit and Sidney Chertok Florida Native Nature Photograph­y Contest. There are two contest divisions. Novice, for new and less experience­d photo hobbyists; and advanced amateur/ profession­al, for experience­d photograph­ers who have practiced and honed their skills over time. Participan­ts should photograph Florida native plants, animals, landscapes and the many habitats of Florida. Entries cannot show humans, human-made structures or artifacts, or discernibl­e fauna or flora non-native to Florida. For contest rules visit orangeaudu­bonfl.org. Flamingo Bingo and Luncheon: The Central Florida Spokes event will benefit IDignity; Journey's End Animal Sanctuary; and Seminole County Sheriffs Office Community Foundation. Designer Bag Bingo for Special Olympics: Each ticket includes cards for all eight games where you can win a designer purse or bag. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and raffle. AARP Safe Driver Classes: The National Office of AARP has canceled all live attendance activities including all AARP Safe Driver Classes through May 31. The course is available online at aarpdriver­safety.org. Use code DRIVINGSKI­LLS for a 25% discount through July 31.

The Orange County Library System has canceled all library sponsored events and programs through May. Also, OCLS has closed book drops for all 16 locations. Customers are asked to hold materials and return them when the library reopens. OCLS has extended the due dates for material from May 1 to June 1. During this period of time, library fines will be suspended. OCLS offers a wide variety of digital offerings for library cardholder­s, including a variety of online classes. Harry P. Leu Gardens in Orlando has canceled all classes and programs through April. They tentativel­y hope to resume in May.

The City of Altamonte Springs has canceled all events and programs through May 7. This includes Family Fest at Cranes Roost Park on May 3.

Antiques and Appraisal Fair: The event scheduled for May 16 and hosted by Osceola History at the Osceola County Welcome Center & History Museum has been postponed. Details: 407396-8644.

African Violet and Gesneriad Display and Sale: The event scheduled for April 25 and hosted by the Sunshine State Gesneriad and African Violet Group at the First United Methodist Church Apopka has been postponed. Details: 407654-0949.
