Mary Patricia (Pat) Watson Ferguson, passed away on July 3, 2020.

Born on February 12, 1931 in Wilkes-Barre, PA, Pat was the youngest daughter of Dennis and Helen Ruddy Watson. She was a graduate of the inaugural class of South Catholic High School and won the “The Shoe” for the Best Dancer of her class. Upon graduation, she worked at the Scranton Lace Company. It was there she met her future husband, Robert Ferguson (Fergie), also a wonderful dancer. They married on July 5, 1952 at Nativity Church in Scranton. Pat, Fergie and their 7 children lived in the Scranton and Northeast Pennsylvan­ia area until 1979, when they headed to a warmer climate in Florida. Pat worked in the Medical Records Department of Orlando Regional Medical Center, from where she retired. In 1999, Pat and Fergie moved back to Scranton. Pat worked as a substitute clerk in the Scranton School District. In 2015, they returned to Florida where they remained until her death.

Pat and Fergie raised 7 children together, and were blessed with 13 grandchild­ren, 2 great granddaugh­ters and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Dennis and Helen Ruddy Watson; sisters, Jean Walsh and Helen Targonski; and grandson, Jack Sargis.

Pat is survived by her husband of 68 years, Robert, Sr., her children Mary Ellen Cappelloni (John) Scranton, PA; Robert Jr., Orlando, FL; Patricia Cappelloni (Al), Sudbury, MA; Tim (Colleen), Mooresvill­e, NC; Maureen, Winter Garden FL; Susan Sargis (John) of Coconut Creek FL and Dan (Donna), Windermere, FL.

Due to present health concerns, a funeral mass burial will be held in Scranton, PA on a future date. and
