Here are multiple upcoming concert opportunities from around Central Florida, two of which magically involve everybody’s favorite boy wizard, Harry Potter.

First off, the Bach Festival Society of Winter Park is taking the music outside in its new Bach Off the Avenue program. The first installment, titled “Silver Screen Symphonic Classics” will feature movie music from box-office hits such as “The Wizard of Oz,” the “StarWars” saga and the “Harry Potter” series.

Music director John Sinclair will conduct the Bach Festival Orchestra for the program, supported by the Winter Park Economic Recovery Task Force, a partnership developed by the city and Chamber of Commerce to spur safe events in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Two 75-minute performances will be offered, at 2 and 5 p.m. Oct. 25, at Central Park’ s West Meadow in downtown Winter Park. Physically distanced tables will be spread throughout the park, with a table for two available for $110 and tables for four costing $175. Guests may purchase drinks, including beer and wine, aswell as a cheese and fruit platter in advance when they order tickets. Go to BachFestivalFlorida.org/bach-off-the-avenue or call 407-646-2182.

Note that guests will need towear masks when arriving, departing and otherwise moving around, but may remove them once seated for the duration of the concert.

Also taking to the great outdoors: The Orlando Philharmonic’s Focus Series, which will stage its next two concerts in The Grove at Mead Botanical Garden. Guest violinist Lara St. John will lead Beethoven’s “Kreutzer” Sonata, and music director Eric Jacobsen will perform on cello during the concert, which also features Mendelssohn’ s Symphony No .1. That performance is at 7 p.m. Oct. 19; the subsequent show, an evening of fanfares, will be at 7 p.m. Nov. 16.

Patrons may bring their own chairs or blankets, aswell as food and beverages, to the garden, at 1300 S Denning Drive, Winter Park. Seating will be physically distanced, and concert goers will be required towear masks. Tickets start at $25; go to OrlandoPhil.org or call 407-770-0071.

Also holding a concert at Mead Garden is Central Florida Community Arts, whose CFCArts Symphony Orchestra will present seasonal tunes in “This is Halloween” at 3 p.m. Oct .31. Masks are required, and concertgoers should bring a chair or blanket. Tickets are $15 for age13 and older, $10 for ages 4-12. Go to cfcarts.com/ this-is-halloween.

For those who prefer their music inside, tickets are on sale for the next installment of the “Harry Potter” concert series at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts. Orlando’s downtown arts center will show the film “Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix” while an orchestra plays the score beneath the screen. Showtimes are 7 p.m. June 26 and 2 p.m. June 27.

Tickets start at $45.50; go to drphillipscenter.org or call 1-844-513-2014.

For music that’s more immediate, you still have time to check out Central Florida Vocal Arts’ “Gender Bender” show, which is available to stream until the end of October. The recorded concert features singers performing tunes usually sung by members of the opposite sex. You’ll hear familiar songs from theworlds of musical theater, pop and opera.

Singers Morgan Davis Peck els, Bryan Hayes, Desiree Montes, David Bracamonte, Sarah Stead and Jacob Pence are accompanied by the Space Coast Symphony, under the baton of Aaron Collins. Tickets are $10; go to centralfloridavocalarts.org.
