Where to get the COVID-19 vaccine in Central Florida.
Starting Monday, COVID-19 vaccinations site will offer shots to anyone 16 and older getting the Pfizer vaccine or 18 and older getting the Moderna or Johnson & Johnson vaccine. Note that not all sites offer the Pfizer vaccine and that 16- and 17-year-olds will need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian and sign a consent form.
If you sign up through the CDR Health Patient Portal for a 16- or 17-year-old and don’t already have an account for yourself, you must do that first. Then click on the “Register Minors/Wards” tab within your CDR profile.
Also, starting on Tuesday, the FEMA run sites in Orlando at Valencia College’s West Campus as well as ones in Jacksonville, Tampa and Miami will switch to administering the Johnson & Johnson one-dose shot. See more details below.
This weekend, vaccine eligibility is still limited to Floridians 40 and older, health care workers with direct patient contact, adults deemed extremely vulnerable by a physician (form required), and long-term care facility residents and staff.
Note that some sites that are normally open on Sundays will be closed this weekend for the Easter holiday.

There’s also a statewide email address for home-bound seniors to register to have the COVID-19 vaccine brought directly to them. To request vaccination, email HomeboundVaccine@em.myflorida.com or call 1-866-779-6121.
Anyone seeking a vaccination will need proof of being a full- or part-time Florida resident. Examples of accepted documentation include a valid Florida driver’s license or Florida identification card or any two of the following: A deed, mortgage, monthly mortgage statement, mortgage payment booklet or residential rental or lease agreement.
A utility hookup or work order that is not more than 2 months old or a utility bill that is not more than 2 months old.
Mail from a bank or other financial institution — including checking, savings, or investment account statements — that is not more than 2 months old.
Mail from a government agency, such as a tax bill showing a Florida address, that is not more than 2 months old.
Caution: Beware of scams. Do not fill out Eventbrite vaccine registration forms unless they are provided through a county’s website or the links in this list, and do not register for a vaccination appointment that requires payment. However, many providers ask for insurance information if you have coverage.

ORANGE COUNTY LIBRARY SOUTH TRAIL BRANCH, 4600 Orange Blossom Trail, Orlando: Operated under a partnership of the Orange County Library System, Orange County’s Office of Emergency Management and the Florida Division of Emergency Management, this site is for walk-up vaccinations only with no appointments needed. It is expected to run for six to 10 weeks, depending on vaccine supply.
Who’s eligible: Florida residents age 40 and older (18 and older on April 5); health-care professionals with direct patient contact (any age); extremely medical vulnerable or high-risk residents (any age, but must have required state form signed by doctor).
Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (or while daily allotment lasts), seven days a week. NOTE: Open Easter Sunday.
VALENCIA COLLEGE’S WEST CAMPUS, 1800 S. Kirkman Road, Orlando: This FEMA site is run through a federal-state partnership offering vaccines on a first-come, first-served basis. The site is providing 3,000 first doses of the Pfizer vaccine per day through Monday, April 5, then will transition to administering 3,000 Johnson & Johnson one-dose shots starting Tuesday, April 6. Note: Anyone who received a first dose of the Pfizer vaccine at the site is guaranteed their second dose at Valencia.

ORLANDO VA MEDICAL CENTER, 13800 Veterans Way, Orlando: This is a VA-run site, located in the fourth-floor auditorium of the Lake Nona facility. Appointments and walk-ins are welcome. To schedule, call 407-631-0499 Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m.- 4 p.m.
Who’s eligible: All enrolled and eligible veterans regardless of age. Hours: Monday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Tuesday through Friday 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
LAKE BALDWIN VA MEDICAL CENTER, 5201 Raymond St., Orlando: This is a VA-run site, located in Auditorium B of the facility. Appointments and walkins are welcome. To schedule, call 407-631-0499.
Who’s eligible: All enrolled and eligible veterans regardless of age. Hours: Tuesday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. for appointments; 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. for walk-ins.
UCF & VALENCIA COLLEGE DOWNTOWN CAMPUS, 500 W. Livingston St., Orlando: This is a walk-up site offering COVID-19 vaccinations on Wednesdays only. Residents may park at the UCF Parramore Parking Garage, 323 N. Parramore Ave., Orlando.
Who’s eligible: 18 and older.

Seniors who lack transportation may qualify for a free ride from LYNX. You must have a scheduled appointment at the Orange County Convention Center before calling
407-836-3111 to request a scheduled ride. Seniors also may ride LYNX to the Valencia College site, which does not require an appointment.
Seminole County
OVIEDO MALL, 1360 Oviedo Mall Boulevard, Oviedo (enter from the parking lot closest to District Eat & Play): This is an appointment-only site. As of Thursday evening, most appointments were booked for the coming week, but check back frequently in case of cancellations. New appointments are posted each Thursday. Currently offering the Pfizer vaccine.
Who’s eligible: People 40 and older (16 and older on April 5; under 18 need consent from a parent or guardian), long-term care residents and staff, health-care workers with direct patient contact and employees of educational institutions (any age); and people with approved documentation from a physician deeming them to be extremely vulnerable to COVID-19.

SANFORD MOBILE CLINIC, Salvation Army, 700 W. 24th St., Sanford: One-day vaccination event on Thursday, April 8, with Pfizer vaccine.

New appointments for the Oviedo Mall vaccine site will be posted to PrepareSeminole.org’s vaccine section each Tuesday, pending vaccines are received in order to guarantee appointments for the following week. Eventbrite, the appointment system utilized by Seminole County, has a feature to “follow” events created by Seminole County to receive notification if cancellations result in available appointments.
Homebound residents should call the county’s Citizen’s Information Line at (407) 665-0000 to request an in-home vaccination visit. The request will be screened for eligibility, with paramedics scheduling in-home visits.
Homebound veterans who served in WW2 or the Korean War can put in a request for an in-home visit through the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs.

There is no wait list for appointments; residents should continue to check PrepareSeminole.org for updates. DOH-LAKE COMMUNITY HEALTH SITE, 560 W. DeSoto St., Clermont: Open for scheduled second doses only from Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to noon for week of April 5.

CENTRO CRISTIANO DIOS DE PACTOS CHURCH, 1130 Simmons Road, Kissimmee: This is an appointment-only site with preregistration required through the state vaccine portal or by calling or call 866-201-6507. Residents will be contacted by the county’s vendor to schedule their first dose appointment; the Health Department will schedule the second dose.

65th INFANTRY VETERANS PARK, 301 Buenaventura Blvd., Kissimmee: This walk-up site provides up to 200 shots a day. No appointments required.
Who’s eligible: Florida residents or part-time residents age 40 and older (18 and older starting April 5); health-care professionals with direct patient contact (any age adult); extremely medical vulnerable or high-risk people (any age, but must have required state form signed by doctor).
Hours: daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. or until the day’s doses are depleted.
MORE INFORMATION: Residents who are 40 and older (18 and older on April 5) who have obtained an appointment for a COVID-19 shot and do not have a way to transport themselves to the Osceola County vaccine site at Centro Cristiano Dios De Pactos Church can call 407-7420000 between 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday-Friday to find out how to qualify for a ride. Lynx needs at least a 48 hour prior notice to schedule a ride through the Office of Emergency Management (OEM). Since the OEM does not operate on weekends, any ride needed for a Saturday or Monday, must be made the prior Thursday at the latest.
The county also is partnering with Prescriptions Unlimited in St. Cloud to provide vaccinations to home-bound patients 60 and older and home health providers. Providers seeking vaccinations for their staff or patients may call 407-892-7166 or email covid19@ unlimitedrx.com to schedule an appointment. Appointments are required.

VOLUSIA COUNTY FAIRGROUNDS, 3150 E New York Ave, DeLand: This is a state-supported vaccination site with appointments required through the state vaccine portal at myvaccine.fl.gov or 866-201-7314. Individuals who received their first dose COVID-19 vaccine at the Volusia County Fairgrounds should return to the same location on the date written on the back of their vaccination card to receive their second dose.
