Reached the state tournament four years in a row and finished on a high note. Led the Bears to a 17-0 regular season and to the state tournament while she advanced to the 16-player individual finals. Her 826 was the area’s best four-game state series. Vogel had a 225 high game in qualifying, then topped that twice in match play as she won 3 of 5 matches, averaging 202 with a 265 high, to finish sixth. District 9 champ (608) averaged 202 for the year.

All-Area bowlers Madison Bailey Timber Creek freshman Buzz:

Averaged 178 during the regular season with a 209 high game and shot 596 in District 9 for second place. She rolled 766 in state qualifying, third-best for the area, with a 208 high game.

Frances Baksa Lake Mary sophomore Buzz:

Rolled 755 in state qualifying, No. 4 among area players. Averaged 186 during the regular season to lead Seminole Athletic Conference. That included a 280 game and 472 two-game series.

Gianna Bringham Circle Christian sophomore Buzz:

Rolled a 584 series at District 9 for third place, then rolled 710 in state qualifying with 201 in Game 4. It was her third state tournament in four years dating to seventh grade.

Sammi Idarraga Cypress Creek sophomore Buzz:

Averaged 171 during the regular season, finishing with games of 213 and 219 in the final match for the 17-0 Bears. Her 729 state qualifying series was fifth-best among area players.

Amanda Lang Trinity Prep sophomore Buzz:

Averaged 187 in the regular season with a 247 game that tied her own school record, set as an eighth-grader. District 7 champ (524) rolled 706 in state qualifying with a 203 high game.

Samaiya Russell Timber Creek junior Buzz:

Averaged 155 in the regular season and peaked for the playoffs. Shot a 518 district series and then rolled 727 for four games in state qualifying rounds. That was No. 6 on the area list.

Alexiya Sapone Apopka junior Buzz:

She rolled a 529 series for first place in District 8, then shot 726 in state qualifying (203 high game), No. 7 on area list. During the regular season she averaged 165.

Emma Scheele Timber Creek sophomore Buzz:

Averaged 148 in the regular season but improved to a 509 series in District 9. She rolled 719 in state qualifying, 120 pins above that average, as the area’s eighth-highest finisher.

Hannah Tilton Cypress Creek junior Buzz:

Area’s No. 2 state qualifier behind teammate Vogel with a 794 series that included a 224 game. Tilton averaged 190 for the season with highs of 620 and 268. Shot 547 in District 9 play.

Jerianne Todd

Mount Dora Christian senior Buzz:

Averaged 195 and had the area’s best district tournament score, 667, as the District 9 champ. Rolled 682 in state qualifying with a 193 high game.
