Orlando Health has best children’s hospital in state
For the 13th year in a row, Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children and Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital for Women and Babies were recognized among the nation’s Best Children’s Hospitals by U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in hospital rankings and consumer advice.
Tied for the No. 1 spot in Florida and No. 8 in the Southeast, the hospital system also was rated among the top 50 in the nation for five pediatric specialties:
• No. 28 in diabetes and endocrinology
• No. 34 in neonatology
• No. 35 in orthopedics
• No. 41 in neurology and neurosurgery
• No. 49 in urology

“In our neonatal intensive care unit, we care for some of the tiniest and most critical babies in the world,” she says.
In its annual rankings, U.S. News factors in patient outcomes, including mortality and infection rates, as well as health equity, available clinical resources and compliance with best practices.
Orlando Health Arnold Palmer Hospital is a 156-bed facility with pediatric specialties in cardiac care, neurology, oncology, orthopedics and more.
Orlando Health Winnie Palmer Hospital, with 350 beds, offers comprehensive fetal diagnostics and is a regional center for neonatal and maternal intensive care.
